Plastic Flow Analysis
We perform simulations of thermoplastic and thermoset molding processes using Autodesk Moldflow software. Thanks to Autodesk Moldflow, problems are eliminated by making improvements in mold design, part design, and process parameters before production.
- With Autodesk Moldflow, optimization of part design, mold design, cooling circuits, and process parameters can be performed.
- Cycle time and part warpage can be reduced.
- It provides information about the manufacturability of the part. Factors that may affect production, such as wall thickness, draft angles, and undercuts, are identified.
- Design changes in the part are verified with Autodesk Moldflow before mold design.
- In the mold, runner and cooling system problems are identified with Autodesk Moldflow, and proposed design and process changes are also validated with it. In this way, the goal is for molds to work correctly the first time.
- Incomplete or unbalanced filling and quality issues (weld lines, sink marks, air traps, etc.) can be identified.
- The required injection pressure and clamp force can be determined.
- We use Autodesk Moldflow for material selection, gate location, runner balancing, and achieving uniform cooling.
